Shri Nath Kidney Foundation Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the awareness, prevention, and treatment of kidney diseases for millions of Indians at risk. It is a voluntary organization of concerned individuals and professionals who pledged their time and resources towards healthcare service. After malignancy and heart disease, kidney disease is the third largest killer. About two lacs persons in India go into terminal Kidney failure per year and, millions of more suffer lesser forms of kidney diseases. So, to help these unfortunate patients, the Shri Nath Kidney Foundation Society opened a few doors dedicated entirely to patient support. Shri Nath Kidney Foundation Society is helping patients in getting treatment at an affordable cost. The foundation is also educating the public by group meetings and, mass media helps in running training programs for physicians and organizes health check-up camps.
Shrinath Kidney Foundation Society was formed to support kidney patients who could not sustain renal replacement therapy. Our purpose is to help patients maintain a healthy lifestyle as kidney failure is increasing day by day. It has become difficult to receive quality medical assistance at an affordable cost. With this purpose in mind, we started this project. In the last few years, we collected a significant amount of money that was utilized to support many patients. We intend to increase our area of activity. By providing patients subsidized transport service and later on, providing them job opportunities. All our efforts are not possible without the support of society. For this, we started a membership program in which anyone can support these patients by contributing only 500 rupees per month. In the end, I would like to thank all those who supported us in this noble cause.
